IBCC signed an MoU with the Govt of Madhya Pradesh



Lastnewsbd, Dhaka: Global Investment Summit 2023 was held in Indore, MP, India for 2 days where 9 membered of IBCCI Delegation attended. Later on the signing ceremony was held where IBCC signed an MoU with the Govt of Madhya Pradesh in presence of HE Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Honourable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, India.

Secretary General of IBCCI signed the MoU in favour of IBCCI while the Additional Secretary of Industries Ministry of MP signed on behalf of the MP Government.

Both IBCCI and MP Govt will work together to promote trade and business between the two countries. They have signed 3 MoUs here, 1 with the Govt of Madhya Pradesh, rest 2 with the local chamber of commerce. Many B2B took place and business opportunities were explored.

Earlier Abdul Matlub Ahmad, President of IBCCI, President of Bangladesh Automobiles Assemblers and Manufacturers Association (BAMA), former President of FBCCI, Chairman of Nitol-Niloy Group, said that Indian businessmen have expressed great interest in investing in Bangladesh in various sectors including raw materials of cement.

11 traders in Bangladesh are participating in the 4-day Global Investors Summit Exhibition and Buyer Seller meet held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, from 11th – 14th January. On the eve of his trip to Madhya Pradesh, Abdul Matlub Ahmad, in an exchange of views with Indian businessmen at the Hotel Holiday Inn in Kolkata yesterday, said that Bangladesh now has a good investment environment. By utilizing this environment and facilities provided by the government, the businessmen of the two countries will be able to benefit more. He urged Indian businessmen to invest more in Bangladesh.

Abdul Matlub Ahmad, President of IBCCI said, Indian investors are very interested in investing in Bangladesh, currently Bangladesh exports about $2 billion worth of products to India, we are working to increase Indian investment in Bangladesh by increasing it to three billion and reducing the export disparity.

11 businessmen from India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry will participate in it. The delegation will be led by Mrs. Farkunda Zebin Khan.

Matlub Ahmad, President of IBCCI, said that extensive discussions and B2B will be held on Automobile & Engineering, Pharmaceutical & Healthcare, Agricultural & Food processing, Textiles and Garments, Logistics, Aerospace, IT, Chemical, Tourism in this 4-day event.

In addition, IBCCI stalls at the fair will showcase the products of participating businessmen and IBCCI publications. There is also the possibility of signing several MOUs.
