Bangladesh now role model for development : Matlub Ahmad



Abdul Matlub Ahmad presented various aspects of Bangladesh’s development at the inaugural ceremony of Global “Auto-Technology Partnership Summit and Expo” which is held in Delhi, India. He said Bangladesh is now a role model of development.

The Global “Auto-Technology Partnership Summit and Expo” was held on March 23-24 in Uttar Pradesh, India, organized by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA). A delegation of Bangladesh Automobile Assemblers and Manufacturers Association (BAAMA) was invited in that Global event. The delegation was led by Bama’s President Abdul Matlub Ahmad.

He said that the purpose of attending this Global Summit and Expo was to gain an idea about the international technology and market of electric vehicles and other vehicles and their components. India is moving very fast in the automobile sector. Now is the time for us to move towards local production by developing new and effective policies for this sector as well as developing export oriented industries. He called upon Indian investors to invest in Bangladesh and assured them of all necessary cooperation. He further said that next October we are going to organize such an international auto component expo in Bangladesh.

It is to be noted that delegations from half a hundred countries including Germany, Korea, Taiwan, England, Spain and Colombia joined it. There are hundreds of stalls in the fair.

The conference focused on expanding electric vehicle technology as well as focusing on expanding and accelerating the global market for the growing auto component market.

Bamar President Abdul Matlub Ahmad was present during the inauguration of the fair. Later on in front of his presence, the global “Auto-Technology Partnership Summit and Expo” was inaugurated.
