1 crore 40 lakh fund given for journalists by PM

Lastnewsbd, 23 August, Dhaka: The country’s national broadcasting law sent to the cabinet soon, said Information Minister Hasanul haq Inu.


On Tuesday at a press conference in the conference room of the Department of Information said those words. Murtoza press secretary Ahmed was also present at the press conference, Chief Information Officer AKM Shamim Chowdhury.


In response to questions from journalists, the minister said, the scrutiny committee draft broadcasting law was submitted to the Ministry. After the publication of the Ministry, then the feedback has been taken. The opinions of the scrutiny committee have finalized the draft again.


Cabinet will be sent to the cabinet within a few days to propose.

At the time, the minister said, adding that 196 journalists on Wednesday under the Trust a total of 1 crore 40 lakh tk will provide financial assistance to the Prime Minister among the journalist.

The information minister, Sheikh Hasina’s government against journalists sincere and careful at all times. 2012 grants and allowances to support journalists in the government policy do not stop. The institutional development aimed at the welfare of journalists form Journalists Welfare Trust.
