Matlub Ahmad addresses D-8 meeting held in Turkey
Lastnewsbd, 24th October, Dhaka: The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) president Abdul Matlub Ahmad, a trade delegation led by FBCCI Turkey İzmir in October 2021 of the D-8 Chambers of Commerce and Industry took part in the meeting in Izmir.
D-8 member countries to identify cooperation, extension of sector-wise cooperation and partnership schemes to be increased in order to increase the scope and import-export were held. Federation president Abdul Matlub Ahmed also spoke at the meeting in Izmir on October 21. The expansion of trade and investment between member countries laid emphasis on the formation of the D -8+. The member states also highlighted the need for the exchange of technology between their developments.
President of the D-8 member countries of the business of each of the Izmir University of Economics in the form proposed to set up high-tech colleges. Also mentioned factors Matlub Ahmad monitoring and implementation of 3-D -8+ member proposed the formation of two committees.
Senior vice-president of Rajshahi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Peter Manzur Rahman spoke at the meeting. Business delegation on 19 October in Izmir University of Economics visited.
The D-8, established in 1997, is aimed at members of the organization’s position in the global economy to be strong, to create new opportunities of mutual trade and increased participation in decision-making in the international arena.
